A very short to-do list
Three items a day, and why the third one is always the hard one.
For years my to-do list was a museum of good intentions. Now it has fivethree lines, written every morning, by hand.
- One thing that moves work forward.
- One thing that moves me forward.
- One thing I've been avoiding.
If all three are done by lunch, the afternoon is a gift. If none are, tomorrow's list starts with the same three — no guilt, just the same three.
